Downloading PDFs on your computer is pretty easy. However, some of the web browsers available today are not very good at this. Using Firefox can help save time and avoid any risks of downloading malware on your PC, Mac, or Linux using the technology-enabled browser. Once you download a PDF on your computer using Firefox Quantum you can quickly view it straight from within Firefox without even having to open up Adobe Acrobat or another PDF reader manually. Firefox Quantum is the fastest Firefox ever created with support for both PC and Mac computers with macOS Mojave included in its latest update. To use this feature, click on the Firefox button at the top left of your browser window, then click on "Bookmarks", then go to the "Downloads" section. This section is where all the files that you have downloaded are saved. To open a PDF file saved here, simply double-click on it. This will open it in the Firefox sidebar for easy viewing. Firefox also offers an additional solution for viewing online PDFs without having to download or install anything else on your computer. To use this, follow these instructions to turn on the PDF View extension. It's always best to download a PDF with your browser, but it is extremely easy to still access files saved here using Firefox. To view these automatically after downloading, click on the "Firefox" icon at the top of your window and navigate to "Tools". Click on "Options" then "Content" of the dropdown menu. Next, click on "Enable PDF Viewer for Downloads" and it will be automatically enabled for all downloads in Firefox. This is a great feature to have when you want to find a particular document later in the future, but never know where in your Documents folder it is located. To turn on the automatic saving of files, click on the "Firefox" icon at the top left of your Firefox window, then go to "Tools" > "Options". Click on the "Advanced" tab and click on the box next to "Remember Downloads...". Then make sure that is checked. When you save something like a PDF into Google Drive (which is free), it will be saved in either My Drive or Google Docs depending on which account you are logged into. If you want to save a file from your web browser's downloads folder to Google Drive, you have to go into Google Drive and access the files here. To open a PDF file saved here, select the "Tools" menu. Then select the "PDF Viewer for Downloads..." option from there. This will open up a new window that will allow you to view all of the PDFs that you have downloaded. On Windows 10 Creators Update (1703), there is an option called Open With File Explorer which allows you to use File Explorer as an alternative to directly opening PDFs with Adobe Acrobat Reader. cfa1e77820
